Bilateral TTA/TFA: Is Genium Better than C-Leg?

We have a patient who has a new above knee amputation on one side and an old trans-tibial on the other. He previously had bilateral trans-tibial amputations and walked unaided. He is in his 60’s and is a diabetic.

He wants to walk over low level obstacles, not major slopes etc., mostly level ground but with some outdoors walking, reasonable speeds and eventually unaided.

Do you have an opinion on the relative merit of Genium versus C-leg  for him? He will be self-funded. Naturally, any cost savings that can be made matter, but are not absolutely crucial if there are good functional benefits to be obtained.

Thanks for your advice.
